ART FESTIVAL-2009
Birth Centenary of Dr. Homi Bhabha, the founder of Atomic Energy
Establishment and father of India’s Atomic Energy Programme will be commemorated by “SARVAJANIK UTSAV MANDAL”
from 27.8.2009 to 02.09.2009 during Ganesh Utsav Celebration. Dr Homi Bhabha’s
interest and encouragement to promote the Arts is well known. SARVAJANIK
UTSAV MANDAL is organizing the “Portrait Competition and On the Spot
Painting Competition” for the students of Atomic Energy Central Schools as per groups defined below:

The Theme of the Portrait will be “Dr.
Homi Jahangir Bhabha”
The portrait will be prepared/made by the participants at their
home and may submit the same by 19th August, 2009 in their respective schools.
“On the Spot Painting
Competition” will be conducted at Old Community Centre, Anushakti Nagar on 30th August, 2009 at 10:00 Hrs.
Interested students are requested to participate in the above competition
on the above date and venue.
The organizer will provide only Blank Drawing paper to the participants.
The Portrait/painting will be judged by the eminent artists. The
decision of the judges and the organizers will be final and no queries will be entertained.
There
will be three prizes for each group.
